IGDA Meeting to be held at the Show

02/08/2010 • Category: Speakers

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) is the largest non-profit membership organization serving individuals that create video games.  Members of the IGDA get together to discuss various happenings in the IGDA -- everything from quality of life to discussing development strategies that the members have undergone in their projects.

The IGDA has chapters around the world, and this year at the Midwest Gaming Classic the Wisconsin chapter of the IGDA will be returning to the event for the first time in a few years to host a meeting at the show.  This is an official IGDA meeting and will discuss industry related items.  The meeting is an open meeting however, so interested parties may sit in on it and listen to game industry professionals discuss various topics if they so choose.  Another speaking session will be announced soon for people interested in becoming involved in the industry and creating the classics of tomorrow.

The IGDA Wisconsin meeting is another way which the Midwest Gaming Classic has things to do for every facet of the electronic gaming industry, no matter what your interests are!  There is so much to do at the Midwest Gaming Classic that you'll never be able to do it all!
