Midwest Pinball Championship Games Announced

03/06/2010 • Category: Tournaments

The 2010 Midwest Pinball Championship is going to be one heck of a tough competition, and today four of the five machines that will be in the Midwest Pinball Championship for this year were announced.  Those games are as follows:

1970s Game - Night Rider (Bally, 1977)

1980s Game - Nine Ball (Stern, 1980)

1990s Game - Demolition Man (Williams, 1994)

2000s Game - Big Buck Hunter (Stern, 2009)

There four games represent a wide variety of playing styles in differing eras, and should challenge players of all skill rankings and types to see just how well they can do against the rest of the players from around the Midwest and world that will be competing in this year's event!

Also, please note a slight rule tweak to the Midwest Pinball Championship -- due to the fact that the 2009 Midwest Pinball Championship having had the maximum number of ranked players able to score points (79, according to last year's tournament rules), and with the anticipation of additional players due to the integration of both women's division and C division into the ranked system, the point scoring system has been expanded to max out at 200 points per game.  The system still gives bonus points to the first eight positions on each machine, making it possible to score 179 positions per machine, and making the possible total points for any one player in the tournament to score become 1000.

If you are up for a good challenge with the silverball, you will not want to miss this year's Midwest Pinball Championship at the Midwest Gaming Classic!
