Tommy at the Times Opens Tomorrow
It has been 35 years since The Who's Tommy: Pinball Wizard was released, but starting tomorrow and running until the 9th of September, you can join the MGC Around Town and see this cultural phenomenon just like it was 1975!
Restored to better-than-original film quality, Tommy has never looked as good as he will when the film starts rolling at the Times Cinema in Milwaukee tomorrow! And that isn't it -- buy your ticket and show up early for a free screening of Tilt: The Battle to Save Pinball. This documentary from Greg Maletic traces the creation of the final two pinball machines from Williams Pinball and the great successes and ultimate failure that went along with it. You won't want to miss either of these wonderful films.
