IFPA Heads to Talk Tournaments
Ever wanted to learn more about playing pinball competitively? Three of the people in charge of the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) will be doing a presentation at the event to cover just that topic!
Josh Sharpe, IFPA President, Zach Sharpe, IFPA Vice President and Roger Sharpe, IFPA Co-Director will be on hand for a presentation on how the sport of competitive pinball playing has grown and expanded recently! The main pinball tournament at the Midwest Gaming Classic, the Midwest Pinball Championship, has grown to be one of the largest pinball tournaments in the country, and the Sharpes will explain a brief overview of the rules to people that haven't played in a pinball tournament ever before, and answer detailed questions from players that have played in tournaments like this in the past.
The Sharpes will also explain how the World Pinball Player Rankings work, and discuss the upcoming IFPA 7 tournament -- the ultimate tournament for pinball wizards, of which there is a satellite qualifying spot available at this year's Midwest Pinball Championship! If you ever wanted to understand how a tournament is put together, or how ranking is determined, you won't want to miss this presentation!
