Forden, Dan

Dan Forden has been designing audio for video games for almost thirty-five years.  He is most well-known for his work on the Mortal Kombat series of games dating back to the early 1990’s when he was the audio designer for the original arcade version of the game.  Early in his career, he also created audio for a number of pinball machines including Black Knight 2000, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Medieval Madness.  Dan’s crowning achievement, however, is his role as the “Toasty” guy that pops out of the side of the screen on many of the Mortal Kombat games and says “Toasty!” in an operatic falsetto.
