Welch, Wally

Wally joined the Bally Pinball design team where he designed "Medusa" & "Mysterian" pinball machines. As an independent contractor, he produced the "Jolly Roger" pin which was revised and manufactured as "Pistol Poker" for Alvin G & Co. It was here he also designed "Mystery Castle," "Slam n Jam," and "Maxx Badazz" pins. At Capcom, he designed "Eureka" and "Austin Powers" Novelty games.
As a Mechanical Engineer for Grand Products he worked on the following products: Time Crisis 4, DDR Dance Revolution, Bowl O Rama, Fast & Furious, Ultracade Video, Wangan II. He was a member of the Chicago Gaming design team developing both Pin games and a variety of Novelty Games. At Jersey Jack Pinball, he was a member of the design team that developed the following pin games: Hobbit, Dialed In, Pirates of the Caribbean, Willy Wonka, and Guns n' Roses. Wally retired from Jersey Jack Pinball in April. Although he is happily retired, he is currently designing several original concepts for pinball machines that are market-specific.
