Catan, previously known as The Settlers of Catan or simply Settlers, is a multiplayer board game designed by Klaus Teuber. Trade, build and settle the Island of CATAN in this addictively fun strategy game previously called Settlers of CATAN. Players control their own civilization and look to spread across a modular hex board in a competition for victory points.

Martian Dice Tournament

Martian Dice Tournament

Your mission, Martians, is to swoop down on the pathetic denizens of the primitive planet Earth and scoop up as many of the inhabitants as you can manage. We are interested in samples of the Chicken, Cow, and Human populations so that we can determine which of them is actually in charge. The Earthlings might manage to put up a feeble defense, but surely nothing that a small taste of your Death Rays can’t handle. Make Mars proud – be the first Martian to fill your abduction quota!!

Martian Dice is a fast-playing dice game where players are Martians sent to planet Earth to abduct its inhabitants so they can be specimens in their scientific experiments. Compete with your fellow Martians by attempting to gather the most valuable load of Earth creatures and return them safely to the mother ship. But be careful as the Earthlings will surely mount a defense to thwart our specimen collecting progress!

The tournament will be played in groups of 4 with one player being eliminated each round until only a single player is left in each group, who will then form a new group with all the other groups winners to determine the most skilled Martian of them all! Sponsored by Nexus Game Fair and hosted at the Milwaukee Company of Gamers game library.

Midwest Pog Throwdown

Are you the best at POGS? Whether it’s been a night or a lifetime since you last played, we want to see your slammer skillz! We have NO idea if this tournament will get 2 people or 222 people to show up, so we know that we’re doing 1v1, but we’re going to decide how many losses to a knockout based on how many people show up. If you’re one of the top PogChamps, the finals will be held on stage at 3:30pm and streamed on tvMGC on Twitch, the first pog tournament that we know of to do that! Depending on how many players show up and space, play may be moved to an adjacent room. Timing of qualifying will also be adjusted based on the number of players.

Slide Pucks, Enjoy Life! We live this when we’re playing our shuffleboard games or we’re working or just hanging out. We hope/wish that our customers, friends and shuffleboard game players can join us in adopting this philosophy. Our creative team has not only designed new “Target Shuffleboard” table games, we also make our own tables. Using professionally printed graphic decals, our playing tops are totally unique and enhance & enable how you play our games. In other words, new shuffleboard games need new playing guidelines to pull everything together. Debuting a couple new game boards that will appeal to a wide audience.

Spot It! Tournament

Spot It! Tournament

Spot it! is a simple pattern recognition game in which players try to find an image shown on two cards.

Each card in original Spot it! features eight different symbols, with the symbols varying in size from one card to the next. Any two cards have exactly one symbol in common. For the basic Spot it! game, reveal one card, then another. Whoever spots the symbol in common on both cards claims the first card, then another card is revealed for players to search, and so on. Whoever has collected the most cards when the 55-card deck runs out wins!

The Spot it! Tournament is a player-elimination tournament where groups of players compete to be the last one standing in their group. Once each group is reduced to the last player those players combine to form new groups. Play continues until there is only one Master Spotter!

The tournament is being sponsored by Nexus Game Fair and hosted at the Milwaukee Company of Gamers game library.
