We’ll go over examples in popular media and touch on what inspires us to create. So join us and we’ll set you up to play the antagonist of your dreams!

See how to get started with TikTok Influencer @serendipity.the.entity (Previously known as @wafflethesnek). Also get some cosplay tips and tricks on creating your own costumes, props, and set pieces.

Attendees can ask questions about getting started, improving skills, and navigating opportunities in cosplay.

Interested to try out Live Action Role Play (LARP) but don’t know where to start? Milwaukee’s very own LARP group, Deeplight, will walk you through everything you need to know! This panel is perfect for anyone who’s curious about LARP, whether you’ve been wanting to try, just want to learn more, or are a seasoned vet! Everyone is welcome, so come as you are. We’ll discuss our events, how to prepare, and what to expect if you come. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and a sense of adventure—We’ll take care of the rest!
This panel will dive into LARP as a whole, but with a focus on Larp Combat. We will dive into different styles of LARP weapons we use and where to find them. If you’re looking for examples to try, this is the perfect panel for you! We’ll go over how to stay safe and the ‘play to lift’ mindset. And of course, there will be an enthralling combat demo so you can see what a battle within our larp would look like!

A hands-on workshop aimed to educate the young gamers of today about the evolution from retro to modern video gaming.
From consoles to controllers to games and game play, volunteer panelists have the opportunity to learn about retro gaming (starting with Gen 3 to Gen 6) and compare to their more current gaming experiences (Gen 7 and beyond.)
The very end of the workshop includes a mindful discussion with everyone about responsible gaming.
Your host, Minz of Mintendo Land, includes fun video game trivia throughout the workshop for attendees and encourages gamer parents as well as video game lovers of all generations to attend!
