Think Quick Events is excited to be bringing its escape room experience to the Midwest Gaming Classic 2023! This year, players are being sent to Battle Island and entered into the island’s Trading Card Game Tournament to win the ultimate prize! But, the winning cards are locked away by numerous traps and puzzles! Gather your friends together to find all of the missing cards you need before the Grand Master banishes you to The Dark Realm!

Video Game Sage is a website dedicated to all things retro gaming and is excited to be hosting a room at Midwest Gaming Classic. At VideoGameSage.com you can work on your collection, participate in challenges, buy and sell video games, or just hang out and chat with people who love gaming, classic to current gen. Stop by the VGS room and play games from the past or some of the newest homebrew creations for the NES.

If you’ve got a VIG ticket, join Voodoo Ranger and chill out at the show! In this laid-back area, you’ll be able to play some games, listen to music, charge your devices (bring your power cords!) and hang out! You can get beverages just outside, and bring them into the lounge to chill with and drink too!

Wield foam weapons and head to the Wolfheim Boffer Room to challenge friends and friends you haven’t met yet to armed (foam) combat! Or receive training from seasoned boffer veterans to learn how to properly, um, boff.

Wolfheim is a part of the Amtgard foam combat society. We are a fast-paced foam fighting group with a magic system intermixed. Come join us for a combat demonstration and learn more about our game and where to find your nearest local park!

The ‘World of Nintendo’ was a store-within-a-store concept that Nintendo popularized in the late 80s and early 90s. Retailers transformed their spaces into luminous merchandising wonderlands where animated lighted signs hung from the ceilings, iconic soundtracks filled the air, and children lined up to play the latest Nintendo games on interactive displays.  The author of ‘The World of Nintendo Book’ has curated this exhibit to allow visitors to experience the sights and sounds of what it was like to visit these stores during Nintendo’s heyday.  This will be the 2nd time the exhibit has been featured at MGC. In 2024, you’ll be transported back to 1991, a time when Nintendo’s NES, Super NES, and Game Boy reigned supreme.
